On this blog I write descriptive articles about things I have learned to do. Expect my pages to have a simple look and feel because I write them in plain html and css. No javascript, no cookies, no trackers, no active content of any kind.
Only one article is available presently. It is about groff, a really nice typesetting program that comes (mostly) pre-installed with Linux. In my mind it ranks favorably for ease of use and quality of results compared with LaTeX, the other open-source typesetting solution.
The article describes a rather technical aspect of groff: how to add a new font to the list of fonts the program is able to use. Here is the link:
